Kagari Shusei x Reader - Transportation

(F/P) - favourite place

A/N:: This is my first time uploading any fanfiction (let alone an "___ x reader") so any constructive criticism is welcomed! Thank you!

    It had been a long day. You were exhausted, after having P.E first lesson and hurting your ankle beyond belief. Your friends thought you were lying and laughed at you happily, enjoying your little "joke". You had had to limp around all day, receiving homework from all your teachers and walk all the way home.

    You arrived into your home and flopped down on to floor, your body feeling lifeless like a fragile doll's body. After thirteen seconds, you felt your phone vibrate loudly and almost cried.You had forgotten that you had to meet your friends in less than an hour, and that you absolutely could not miss this occasion. You stood up slowly and pulled out your phone, glaring at the message before replying slowly to meet in your (F/P) and slowly got ready to go.

    As you stood by the bus stop tapping your feet, you could hear a loud voice calling out from the distance. Your head automatically turned to the voice and you could see a small man with red hair running towards the bus stop.
"I told you the bus stop was over here, Akane-chan, Kou-chan!"

    As he came closer, you could see the small flush of red on his cheeks and... were those blue hair clips in his hair?

    He stopped about a metre in front of you and panted hard, slightly bending over. He raised his head and grinned at you. Behind him you could see another tall, dark haired man walking slowly alongside a short, brunette woman. The man, who you assumed was "Kou-chan", looked incredibly bored and was staying close to the woman ("Akane-chan") who looked very worried.

    "Hey, has a bus come by? Stupid question really or you wouldn't be here, would you?" He broke off to laugh loudly and you smiled shyly, hoping he wouldn't talk to you for too much longer. "Kagari, quit talking to her - I think you're scaring her." A deep voice sounded from the distance and your head jerked towards it, looking at the tall male as he approached the small bus stop. He pulled Kagari back and gave you an apologetic look before turning to Akane. "You should keep him on a tighter leash, Inspector".

    Your eyes widened slightly - if she was an Inspector, did that make those two her Enforcers? Akane caught your expression and she waved her hands in the air wildly. "Please, don't be afraid of them - Kougami-san and Kagari are both like over-sized puppies." She laughed nervously, rubbing the back of her neck with one hand. Kougami merely rolled his eyes whilst Kagari's bottom lip curled into a pout.
"Akane-chan~ Don't say things like that in front of such a cutie as-" he paused then turned to look at you. He looked puzzled. "...I don't know your name." You looked back before stuttering out. "(f/n)(l/n)". His eyes shone. "That's such a pretty name!"

    You blush and mumble "thank you, Kagari-san". He grinned at you and opened his mouth to say something - before the bus arrived promptly at the bus stop. You quickly board the bus and swipe your citizen pass, and move straight to the back of the bus. It was deserted and you had no trouble finding a space for yourself, as the school rush was over and many kids had already caught the bus. You made yourself comfortable and watched with interest as the three adults made their way on to the bus. Unsurprisingly, Kagari was left to sit by himself as " Kou-chan" sat himself next to "Akane-chan".. And he looked towards the you and gave you a big grin before darting over to you and plonking himself down on the seat next to you. The bus ride was longer  usual - perhaps because of the constant flow of words pouring out Kagari's mouth. However, you slowly open up to him more, and but the time you have both reached your stop, the two of you are laughing over anything that came to mind. The bus came to a quick stop, and you jerked forward and would have fallen flat on your face - had Kagari Shuusei not reached out for your arm and gripped on to you tightly... pulling you into his lap!

    Your face flushed a very deep red, and he laughed and poked your cheeks. "You okay?" He turned you around so he could see you, and tucked a strand of your (H/C) hair behind your ear. You avoided his gaze and nodded slowly. He grins and stands the both of you upwards, before making his way to the exit with you in tow.

    After you and Kagari got out of the bus, you could see both your friends and his (his Inspector Akane and his co-worker Kougami) waiting patiently for the both of you. Your friends gaped at you, wondering who the young man was, and how the two of you were so friendly. As the two of you realised you were going to different cafés and restaurants, he was quick to ask for your number and you hurriedly wrote it into his phone. He smiled down at you and pulled you into a big, warm hug which you happily returned.

"I'll message you later tonight.. Is that okay?"


"I would love that, Kagari Shuusei,".

A/N:: Then ending is rather rushed, as I wanted to upload it as a Christmas present for a good friend (who has both nagged me to finish my work and encouraged me!).
